Whiskey Girl

Sometime in the 1950s a genius invented this whiskey dispenser. It first appeared at the Second Automatic Vending Exhibition in London in 1960.

This machine mixes whiskey and soda, and most definitely belongs in our house. I love the simplicity of this machine. There’s only one option (Jameson would be in ours) and you either mix with a splash of water or a splash of soda.

Easy and delicious.

Y’all may remember how much of a whiskey girl I am, I got “certified” at Jameson’s in Dublin a few years ago. So really, if it looks pretty and makes the Irish in me happy, what’s not to love?

Adam’s a whiskey fan, but he’s definitely a beer fan at heart. If I get a whiskey dispenser, he’ll have to have something for his beer. Hopefully once our projects are finished he can start brewing in our basement. We have to use that space for something!

Have you come across any other unique dispensers that would add a vintage touch to your home?
