Vineyard Hotel to Home

Last summer, vineyard vines announced a partnership with Lark Hotels. I love vineyard vines; Shep and Ian’s story of quitting their corporate jobs to design ties is inspiring, and I love trying to prep-ify my husband in their fun ties. He got a bow tie for Christmas and I’ll be sure to slowly build his collection for him.

I was super excited to see last week that vineyard vines has since moved into the interior decorating space for Lark Hotels. Starting summer 2013, guests can stay in a vineyard vines designed suite at the Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport or 76 Main on Nantucket. I haven’t been to Kennebunkport or Nantucket, and would love to stay at these charming hotels when we go. And really, I’m just waiting for them to release a line of home decor, throw blankets, pillows, and linens inspired by living the island life. Here is a peek at the vineyard vines suite:

Want to try something on your own? I tried my hand at recreating vineyard vine’s suite in a home-friendly way. I love the throw pillows I found: sparkly fish scales and a fabulous embroidered nod to North Carolina.

How would you add a touch of island life to your home?

I’m looking for a nautical knot shadow box like I saw in the dressing area at the Southpark Mall, Charlotte store. Any ideas? Any help? We’ve looked at some coastal stores. No luck. Thanks.

Hey Pam! Could you send me a photo? Then I could try to dig something up for you! I haven’t been to the store in Charlotte so I’m having a hard time imagining it!
