Friday, Adam and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. The only thing I’ve done longer than 5 years is live in the house I was born in. (Yes, I was born at home not at the hospital. My brother was almost born in the bathtub. That’s another post.)
We went to a West Chester gem, The Mediterranean for tapas and delicious Middle Eastern food. A mix of Lebanese and Italian styles, we had a great meal and loved trying out our first BYOB restaurant. BYO’s are super popular in the Philadelphia area, and most places don’t charge a corking fee
We started with fried zucchini (one of my favs) and a spiced pie. Adam had Ahi Tuna Kebabs with tabouli and I had Falafel Encrusted Chicken with mixed veggies. It was all very good.
It was nice to get out on the town so to speak, and enjoy a little down time. Though I will admit I feel guilty every time we leave Daphne at home. Next time we would probably opt to sit on the second floor. It was entertaining and strange to hear all the kitchen conversations. And there definitely will be a next time!
Happy anniversary to us!
