Travel Friendly Cardigans

I love a good cardigan. I have an entire drawer filled with them, and a few matching shells for those Jackie O days. My floral zipper hoodie has been keeping me company in case there is a draft, and I love that it has the structure of a sweatshirt with the fun print and comfort of a cardigan.

That got me thinking about some new cardis that would be great travel companions. So here are three ideas:

1. Rickety Rack Gift Wrap Jacket, $100. This jacket has the look of a cardigan with the sleekness of a jacket. The adorable tie hit right at the waist for a great fit. Bonus: it has a hood you can pull up just in case.

2. Tori Burch Embellished Cardigan, $511 at I love the fun glass beads on this cardigan. The mint color is great for all seasons, and the wool knit will be a nice layer to transition from winter to spring.

3. Missoni Long-Sleeve Belted Cardigan $1240 at Bergdorff-Goodman. While most of us aren’t in a position to splurge on a $1200 cardigan, I love two things about this one from Missoni. First, the blue ombre coloring is on-trend and transitions at the waist to make yours look super svelte. Second, the crochet style is travel friendly. It’s great for a mini-blanket on your flight and it won’t wrinkle in your suitcase.

Do you have a cardigan that you always travel with?

Really Really Really love the Tori Cardi! I can never have too many cardigans, Nate says they make me look mommy-ish, but hot mommy-ish. . .whatevs, I’ll take it.
