Somehow I always end up visiting New York in the Spring. There is nothing better than grabbing a pastry and people watching in Central Park after wandering around the MOMA or The Met.
I am really hoping we can make it up for a day this Spring and check out an amazing travelling exhibit at The Met, “Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity.” Following the rise of Impressionism, the department store, and the allure of trends, this exhibit is sure to wow. With over 80 paintings and an impressive collection of couture and accessories.

—Édouard Manet, 1881
